IP Cleaning is a global-leading player in the production of cleaning equipment for professional use (high-pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, floor sweepers and scrubbers, manual cleaning equipment, etc.). The group is made by fifteen companies - located in Europe, Asia, North and South America - with a consolidated turnover of €200 m in 2009. IP Cleaning's development strategy is based on both organic growth through sales and marketing focus, and on the acquisition of competitors. In 2005, BS Investimenti IV and BS Private Equity, together with other institutional investors, arranged the management buy-in of IP Cleaning, acquiring it from Interpump, an Italian publicly listed group. The investment rationale is to support the company's long term growth path, strengthening its worldwide market position.
